problem: mmorpgs hosted in america and such have hugly increased latency and packet loss issues
game providers conclusion: it is telecoms end no theres (proven by my friend)
telecoms conclusion:As you well know, the Big Time plan is designed for unlimited use and may be shaped and throttled at peak times.
If you're a gamer, or running latency sensitive applications and you need a constant quality of service I would recommend you considering using a plan that isn't shaped or throttled such as our pro plans with interleaving off.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused. I understand how frustrating high latency can be.
my conclusion:spacificly targeting mmorpgs is not on, fps's run fine even in american servers ping wise. spacific games that I have trouble include guild wars ( were the problem first arose ) WoW tested to see if it was just ncsofts servers turns out it's not. Aion does not have playable ping either.
all these games get 1000-100,000 ping on average, have not tried/do not have any more games hosted there atm. so in proper conclusion telecom throttle mmorpgs for me so far, and appear to not give a stuff about it. g *&%&^%^% g
if you have a problem like post it in this format or something.
