not really a consumer targeted phone in my opinion.

This will be very popular with business customers looking for a robust flip phone with good screen, buttons, and P2T capability, specifically with no camera (which many companies do not wish to provide to their employees).

Nice phone at a nice price.

There's still a heap of people about who just want a no frills phone but in a clam shell. However, for a few extra $$$, the 2300 looks quite good and has the additional benefit of PTT.

Good Points, both of you. But as a Picky consumer it's unattractive to me. Oh well should be interesting to see how well it sells.

i tried out the sanyo 8200 but the interface was not nice to look at.
Background colours were unattractive also.
exterior of phone is very sexy like all the sanyos.
but i returned it.

I agree with disenchanted, alot of people request a clamshell phone without a camera and at the moment the on handset to fit that description is the samsung x609. I think it will be a great addition to telecoms range of handsets!!
