jaidevp: Yes Westport is off the Christchurch RNC

So was it a RNC issue?

Sorry not RNC so having a 2G network would not have made a difference.

Wasn't working, starting working about 2.50, stopped again about 3.15
And in Invercargill...

And to think XT went down about 2 weeks ago, apparently for a upgrade, for the whole night...

Stopped working in Hastings this morning, and just after 3pm there was no "Telecom NZ" network to connect to.
Have been having problems sending and receiving texts and calls for the past 2 days, incoming texts haven't been coming through until i try to make a call, and calls say "connection error"

Seems to be working okay now though..

I seem to get one ring of a call and then goes to voicemail. Cant ring out though. I am in Rangiora just out of Chch as well. We have about 15 phones on the network around Canterbury and most seem to be down.

Was there a similar situation yesterday in Hamilton CBD? I had no signal for some time late afternoon, around 30 to 45 minutes.
