I am unable to make or receive calls using my iPhone on XT, just sits on "Calling..." forever. I tried a 2d SIM and it works fine.

Anyone else having issues or is it only in my area (Eastbourne, Lower Hutt)?

Hmm, I'm in Whakatane and have "no access to network".

Edit: But I tried placing a call and it went through successfully and the error disappeared.

Calling Telecom now from my landline to find out what the heck is going on. Their services sure seem to have been having trouble recently, so much for rebranding show that they care about customer service.

Restart your phone, actually power it down properly (not just rip the battery off) and make sure it's not connected to a charger at the time.

I don't currently have an XT phone to try.

The iPhone works fine with an 2d SIM, after 25min on hold, Telecom told me that my SIM is faulty. Seems odd to me, considering it didn't throwing a hissy fit when the SIM was inserted, just wouldn't connect calls.

Unfortunately I can't find my other XT SIM to see if they are correct, so I'll just take the SIM into a Telecom store tomorrow and be done with it.

Can't be bothered changing SIM to check again, but I wonder if something has happened to my local cell, the wind has been pretty harsh today, and if I remember correctly, the cell is on a hill a few km from here.
