your data rate is very low, have you connected any new phones to your phone jacks without filters, or tried a modem reboot

is there any noise on the line when you pickup the phone ? also are you using the main jackpoint in the house or an offshoot of the main jackpoint.

nop, I've been using this set up for years now.  My modem is connected to it's own jackpoint without sharing with other phones.  I dont really know if that jack point is the main one or not.

give the telecom helpdesk a call and tell them your ADSL sync speeds are not what they should be and get them to do a line check for you. the number is 0800 22 55 98.

msn: Hey,
Yeah I've been having the same problem!
About a week ago I was getting atleast 5mb/s but since then I've gone down to around 1mb/s and makes using the internet over a network very frustrating.
