Hi,

I tried to activate the call divert on my CDMA phone from the menu, it dialed *91 followed by the number and I got a busy tone. The divert has not been activated.

Is there another code I can use?

Also, I assume that SMS forwarding is not possible? I know that on the GSM network is not but I'm not familiar with CDMA.

Thanks.

Postpaid, it's a company phone (if it matters, although I doubt it).

*91 is Call Divert Immediate, call divert Immediate needs to be activated via the provisioning process from Telecom. You will need to call the helpdesk & request to have call divert Immediate added

Is there any way to do it without calling them? It's a hassle to do that every time I need a divert.

sorry I should have added, the activation is a once off, once added by the rep(s) you then control when it is on or off from your handset

I was doubting it matters if it's a company phone :)

Thanks for the hint.

Saying that, am I able to forward text messages on the CDMA network or only calls like in GSM?

Hi

As previously mentioned, immediate and on busy diverts need to be activated on CDMA lines by front line provisioning teams.

However, if you have voicemail you will be able to activate on no answer divert, dia *71 and the number then press send.

Eg *710271234567 send, if you phone is off or you dont pickup the divert will be enforced.
