Just a minute ago my net cut out for only a couple seconds then connected back up
It happened a couple nights ago too.
Happen to anyone else in Christchurch?

that's why you should have a download manager - lets you resume downloads in the event of a disconnection or something

there are plenty of free ones.

Some people have PPP drop all the time, others like me have it stay up for 30-50 days at a time normally.

Wonder how the OP knows it wasnt just a junk router rebooting?

Would downloading an extreme amount in the past 2 days cause my router to want to reboot?
It is pretty much junk too. Got it for free from Telelcom

Shouldnt do, I have put 100s of gigs thru my router without a reboot. Mostly torrents and rapidshare/megauploads. Then again, you get what you pay for with a free router.
