Ok so if you have a prepaid xt cellphone you have to add the $12/month non-stop text to your xt prepaid account by signing up. Why does telecom make you do this?
Couldn't they just put everyone on xt prepaid on the non-stop text plan automatically without users needing to signup so once a person reaches $12 of text messages per month they will not be billed for anymore texts as long as it's fair use and if it's not fair use they can pay the normal costs of texting.

If you only send 31-150 messages, you're better off on the $6 150 sms addon.

+1 Telecom Stores and Dealers are able to add this at the time of purchase. Otherwise it's a simple call to *333.

You can also change this by calling *333 and following the voice prompts.

it quite clearly states it is an Opt in add on, all of the telecom extras are preset to a casual basis with you needing to choose what extras you use. Not everyone wants no stop txting in fact a few people stay on casual as they dont txt at all

i mean how about telecom having no text messaging plan for prepay. instead once a user reaches $12 of text messages in a month, telecom will stop billing for text messages.

Its already been explained. Theres other texting plans available such as the $6 150txt plan. People who only use 150 txts a month have no need to spend $12 when they only need 150 texts.

I dont see how this is an issue, it takes less than a minute to call up and opt in for the offer.

I am one of those customers that send <150 messages each month. BTW I am a 16 year old and so it is very atypical of me.
