I run an exchange 2003 email server and have been having problems sending emails to certain providers so am looking at using as a smarthost.

Problem is I have an SPF record and need to know what details to put in that record to make messages coming from their smarthost be spf accepted.

Just a note - using to send emails requires either a email account or you will have to register each email address with their service and send all emails through your own account.

I have tried using it today and seems to be sending all my emails to gmail, xtra, telecom etc etc ok. I was under the understanding that if you had a tleecom adsl account you could use xtra smtp

The old smtp.xtra will work, but it will on occasion decide to email you about using it and not the newer send.xtra one.

And IMO you would have to be insane to put a publicly usable SMTP server as a SPF for your domain name.
