Or you could check here for pictures of a real 7500. Which by the way you cannot text with the fold closed.

Ah so this was a picture of a fantasy phone? Having all those button ons the outside kind of defeats the purpose of having a flip phone. What you would essentially have is two phones then, for all the functions you would need to do that. Would be easier having a 'candybar' phone and use the higher quality bigger screen. Although in saying that the 7500 has two 262k colour screens.

A simple idea i wouldnt mind for flip phones is just the ability to read texts on the outside screen. My nokia 6255 says "1 Message Received" it would be handy to be able to just push the memo button on side to read and use the volume keys to scroll for instance. Just a thought

I have had phones in the past that would display the text on the outside screen - i just forget the make/model at the moment...

Sanyo 7400 can text to speech contact names and read them out when they ring/text, its a pity they didnt do the same for actual whole text messages...

They should have given the 7400 a app like "simpletext" on mac, where you type and then it gets read out, you coud have voices to choose from and set them as message allerts and ringtones

Hey.
Had a look on the sanyo site at this and its not much of a step up from 7400.
Still no blutooth.
The mp3 player does play them but it does not have a external slot for a card so you only have internal memory which isnt much at all.
And smaller External Lcd screen and internal screen same size.
Same rubber finish but faceplates arnt as good so you may get allot more scratches on front.
And if it does come out in nz it will be at a price because the 8300 is sitting at 499.00 currently, so dont keep your hopes up for it being some sorta miracle.
The one thing which will be kool if available to download off network is the changable themes on the phone. (shown on the sanyo site)

Not much different from a 7400? I think it is!

1.3MP camera with Macro feature
Music Downloads
260K screen
And EVDO - very cool for streaming video and wap

Everything that rocks about the 7400 and more!
