Is Telecom blocking or shaping access to port 5060 (SIP) on their XT network?

I'm connecting via the direct APN (browsing OK, so I know there's data traffic flow), but I'm unable to connect to my SIP provider/gateway, whereas I'm able to connect to the same gateway over my ADSL line

No. VoIP works fine over XT.

NB: SIP is signaling, not traffic. Shaping would only be useful on RTSP or related streaming protocols.

Is this still the case?

Last week we tested SIP via X-lite on an XP netbook OK, this week only one direction works.

All indications are that it *should* work, but it doesn't in practice.

I just need to confirm, please

Working fine for me.

1 way audio typically suggests a NAT issue.
