langers1972:
That is a grand total of 3 (three).
are there any other $12 offers out there? Not that I can think of, but if your expert knowledge of european mobile pricing extends to the NZ market maybe you can post some more?

I don't know what's rattled your cage, all I did was make a throwaway (and light hearted) comment and you get all prissy.

Just for you I found some 2 Bestmates and TXT4000 on VF

I honestly can't be bothered with this anymore as you seem to be defending Godzone and all it's technological wonderment to the hilt.

Enjoy the rest of your day, I will

strange,  I thought you posted this:

It's not so much the actual figure but the fact that every add on VF and Telecom offer is always the same price, hence my reference to 'competition.

For competition read duopoly

and this;

So many more, 2Degrees and who else?

In terms of what's on offer in the mobile space it's a duopoly as 2Degrees' current offerings are only competing on the light user market

and this

Unless they made it less and then you'd look which is my point. In a duopoly there's no incentive to charge less as then the 'other one' would simply match the price and they'd both lose out. Ever wondered why petrol prices are exactly the same everywhere no matter what company you use?

seems more like you wanted to  discuss competition in the mobile market rather than a lighhearted throwaway comment.

anyway,  this is the internet - arguing about innocuous comments is practically a requirement to be on a forum
