They are pretty much worthless.

Early GSM phones on the other hand can now be worth large amounts of money. Motorola 3200's and 3300's can go from anywhere from 100 to 250 UK pounds in good condition with new batteries!

The phone is actually in quite good condition (charged up no trouble).  It was only used about ten times and had been reconditioned/serviced a few years back (my Grandad thought it needed fixing but it was just disconnected) but like you guys say it just a paperweight now.  I will probably take it in to get recycled).  Thanks for the advice.

You are telling us that some repair agent serviced the phone (and probably charged for this "service") even though a) it was only disconnected and b) 025 was discontinued years ago so the phone couldn't even be connected to the old CDMA network?

The 025 network was still active at the time of the service but it was coming to the end of its life.  I think the service was uncessary but I only found out about while go through the cell phone box this weekend and I guess the tech just did what my Grandad asked for.
