The Thomsons can be set to use a specific IP address on a specific devise. Have a play around and you'll find it that way you can have everything set to "automatic" but you'll need to be using the routers DHCP.

Not much point now, using my linux server to manage everything. It's got grunt, a UPS etc so not a burdan on me.
Just means I will need to reset everything to how it was before I move out, simple enough to do.
