Correct me if i'm wrong, but does CDMA have an issue whereas the phone cannot bar an incoming message if the handset's message box is full?

When using a nokia for TXT messaging (I just don't text now so it's not a bother) when my mailbox was full, the phone would alert me and say "message memory full" or "no space for new messages" and the message(s) that tried to come through was lost forever.

025 would try redelivering later and same with 021, but alas, not on 027!!!

any ideas? is this only a Nokia fault? I notice SMS delivery reports don't work properly on Nokia handsets either.

I have had the same problem, sometimes if my inbox is not full but aparently my memory is then it will say that the message cannot be recieved and it gets deleted, I never even get to see who it is from which is a real pain!!

most phones seem to have message overwriting now, so this would be an issue for a very small number of users i suspect.

Would be interested to hear other tales of this....
