Wow I thought it was just me. sometimes my connection plays up and im used to it now. But this time it was annoying. Took a few minutes to reconnect and then could only use it for 30 seconds or so.

Glad to know i wasnt the only one :D And yes seems to be ok now :)

Hello, realise I'm stating the obvious but yes there has been a significant fault which all indications are it has cleared (although testing to continue), when I understand what went wrong I'll let you know!

Apologies for the inconvenience

It's always a pain rebooting your modem a couple of times only to find that this time that doesn't help at all.

And I thought I finally had to bite the bullet and toddle off to DSE to replace my 5 year old DSL-G604T, which has required almost daily reboots recently.

After trying to restore connectivity via numerous reboots for about 15 minutes, I switched it off for 30 minutes to have a mandatory PS3 break (hate it when that happens ;-)), and all seemed well on my return. But this only lasted for 5 minutes, when it dropped again. Another reboot, and all seems well so far.
