This looks like it could be the bluetooth EV-DO handset I've been waiting for (still lacking SyncML though).

Has anyone tried it and have any impressions they'd care to share?

Cheers.

Ta. Anyone know how the battery is using bluetooth and EV-DO? Can any Telecom phones charge over USB?

Haven't seen it in person yet so no comment on the look. I guess being a Samsung even with the price being reasonable now it won't hold...

Are you sure Jama?
Everything I've read online says it works really well. And I'm looking at the DUN page in the Sprint manual right now meaning Telecom must have disabled it if it's missing??

Why would they (Telecom?) do such a thing to cripple the phone?

Which Telecom handsets support bluetooth DUN?

Telecom did not cripple the phone - quite simply it is not currently compatible with current Telecom EVDO setup.

So EV-DO won't work over USB either?

Can you fill me in on the technical details of the incompatibility?
