At this point in time what phones are there in NZ for sale (and who is selling them) that are WM7 and work fully on XT?

Thanks

In retail stores and online? None. Through Gen-i for business customers? The LG Optimus. Which was supposed to be in stores back in November 2010.

I received one this week to try. And I've heard stores have received training sheets. So it should be soon. But no telling...

Also it's WP7 (Window Phone 7). Windows Mobile died with WM6.5

HTC HD7 is my guess that Telecom will start selling soon as both Telstra and AT&T have announced that this is the model they are getting very shortly. Telstra currently sells the HTC Mozart and AT&T currently sell Samsung Focus, HTC Surround 7 and LG Optimus7.

Either XT will get HD7 (higher probavility), Focus, Mozart or Surround 7 very soon.

edit - I hope Telecom retail does not offers the LG Optimus 7Q with the physical keyboard. We have had 2 of these on trial at our work and the hardware is very disappointing. Back gets HOT due to the metal back cover and IMO QWERTY models phones are too heavy.

Do whatever you want to do man.

If you can live without receiving MMS you can get devices from overseas.
