mrgsm021: Just saw 2 Chorus techs at the my cabinet (ETM/BS), asked them about the ADSL2 upgrade, they confirmed that is what they are doing & that VDSL with also be turned on at the same time, yeeeeaaahhh! They said it may take effect in the next couple of weeks.

I am off to China for couple of weeks so hopefully when I get back it'll be on.

I am now back in NZ and guess what? Still on ADSL1, a quick check on the Telecom wholesale website on broadband availability tool, the date of upgrade to ADSL2+ on my cabinet has now been updated to scheduled May 2011? Although its only another month to wait but WTF??

unlocker: What modem are you using? You need to tell them to check your profile but before that make sure your modem is capable of adsl2+. Your modem should sync at adsl2+ speeds if your cabinet has been upgraded.

Sorry for the late reply! Haven't had time to drop in recently.
I'm using a WAG320N so it's definitely adsl2+ capable. Also having called helpdesk they say that I am already on adsl2+ profile :(. I hope it's not my distance to my exchange.... living in Auckland CBD.
