Guys

Can someone help with this issue please?

I have a mobile broadband account using a Telecom T stick MF626.  Up until a week ago it worked fine when we were away from home but then just stopped allowing internet access.  It still connects fine and everything looks to be fine but in the wireless access controller on my laptop it notes that there is no internet access.

If I connect at home through my wireless router then everything is fine and we can access all websites without any problems but if I then insert the T stick and start the connection  then all of the internet access fails from that point on.

I have checked the mobile account and confirmed that it is current until May 2012 and there is still 300 plus MB of data still to be used.

Any ideas?

Bruce

Have you tried doing a traceroute out to www.google.co.nz or similar sites?

I've sometimes noticed that it can take 20 seconds or so after connecting before data starts being passed.

Also make sure your laptop is getting assigned an IP :)

Last but not least, with the Dialer try sending a SMS to another phone and see if it gets through.  If there are credit issues then you get a SMS back saying there is no credit.

You can also try the helpdesk on 0800 800 163 and see if they can check your credit status.

have you still got a positive balance? you may have run out of credit before the 300mb mark so you haven't hit the threshold to get the free 200mb.
