I really wish that I'd been awake enough to answer this call this morning.
Where do you think it came from? I thought that Telecom had phased out 025 numbers years ago?
Calling back the number is futile: dit-dit-dit-dit dit-dit-dit-dit
joeksemail: I have just looked into this for you from a Telecom point of view and that number is not currently active on either of our networks.

Do you use it for international customers roaming on your network? I get all sorts of odd CLI details for people roaming when calling us. Most recently was a telecom customer whose number started with 062, eventually figured out they were roaming on the Telecom network.
georgebrownlee: Probably some overseas telemarketers spoofing caller IDs then
Just as well I didn't answer it. I'm not partial to that sort of thing at 6am.
Thanks for looking into it though
old3eyes: It's not even an original 025 number. Your one has 8 digits and the old AMPs network was 6 and 7 digits..
