Xtra's email servers have been upgraded allowing

100MB inbox versus the old 12MB
20MB attachments versus the old 10MB
better spam filter (sent to spam folder in xtramail) is now the default option.
xtramail has now adopted the familiar Microsoft MSN "Hotmail" interface.

it fills the screen versus beuing limited to a pane of less than 640 x 480 and that ugly disgusting Xtramail interface complete with banner ads is now a thing of the past!!!!!!

Positive move at last to the archaic servers!

Well overdue - I guess the defections to gmail etc were starting to hurt.
At least now you can get to everything on a pda screen - the old interface locked you out of most functions.  Its still ugly compared to google though.
I'm glad they've increased the MB - I used to get peeved at receiving the "you are approaching your limit" messages and then finding it was because of all the stuff they'd put in the spam folder, or stuff that I'd deleted but which was still sitting in "trash".  Always seemed logical to me that if the storage limit was being approached - just clear those two folders rather than block stuff to the inbox??  Hopefully this new system will be better at housekeeping and emptying the trash too!
