Taking bets? I'm thinking about $599. Would like to see HTC's come through NZ carriers a bit more.

$100 off if you preorder though your most likely correct about the retail price..

It's a shame that Telecom have concentrated on midrange Android devices. The wildfire S is a decent step up from the first version but I would rater see them launching the Galaxy S II or one of the other dual core phones - who knows maybe this is the start of a new line of HTC phones on Telecom that would be a good thing.

I reckon they should, sensation next, late, as per nz standards, would be nice if under a 1000 but i'd say more. I guess also they are taking into account the prices they usuallty charge, and therefore a market exists in nz for this phone

I don't believe a 850mhz sensation exists yet, and they certainly wouldn't custom make it for Telecom.
(actually i heard rumours of a carrier in asia potentially getting it in 850mhz but these are rumours)

It went through th fcc last week, so it exists. Agreed it wouldnt be solely telecom. But there is a chance.

Any bets on the price??

Two HTCs in two days. Was hoping for a SGS2 as well.

Whats the HTC desktop software like?? I'm not at all impressed with Samsung's kies..

While it's nice that more decent Android-based phones are coming out, I'd like to see a few more Windows Phone 7 devices tbh.

The listing of the other telecom phones has gone AWOL - looks like they mustve received a takedown request...

Isn't the list of Telecom phones just on: http://www.telecom.co.nz/mobile/ ??

That seemed to be from the Android forum (if you take out the topic you see it's pointing to the Android Forum).. So I suspect someone deleted the thread for whatever reason.

Suspect it was all the commercially sensitive information that was leaking like a sieve on it
