Ok,

So monday morning my phone was working, monday afternoon it wasnt... Unplugged all devices in the house, rang my number and it's coming up engaged as if it's shorted somewhere. I logged a fault with telecom and they've advised me the turnaround time is 8 days for a tech to come out, they also say they can see there is a problem on the line due to DB levels etc it looks like a cable cut.

8 Days for a phone to be fixed!!! :/

Barry

What makes it worse is I want to move my phone line off telstra clear (telecom wholesale) to another provider, however all providers advise they need my telecom accoutn number which obviously I dont have. When asking telecom or telstra they suggest moving my line back to telecom (pay a move fee) then to the provider I want and pay another move fee. Seems a little odd :/
