Got this for my son last month the screen is slow to load and sometimes when he flips it down after texting it shuts down, I want a refund (Bond and Bond) any ideas? am I doomed with this horrid phone

Welcome to Geekzone. If the phone is ok (no drops, water damage, etc, etc) you should have it checked for upgrades (are there any for this model?).

If there are upgrades available, ask for the upgrade to be done. If the problem persists then talk to the reseller for a refund or exchange.

How old is the unit, as this will be an important fact in consideration of a refund. A trip for the phone to Telegistics might be the best solution.

Hi thanks for replies, the phone is just under a month old and hasnt been dropped or damaged, I would rather a refund so I can get a different model as I can only imagine more probs down the line if this is happening so early after purchase

I hate to say it but you would be hard pressed to get refunded however it does depend on store policy.

It may be a tad easier through Bond & Bond as I'm uncertain of their return period, but most likely it would be either 7 or 14 days.

Once its outside this period the handset would be directed for repairs as set out my the manufacturers warranty (Pantech in this case).

Approach them and see what they say, but once outside that right of return period, Bond & Bond can unfortunately for you, reserve the right to send it for repair only.
