So I decided to make the move from Vodafone on account for my partner and myself to XT pre-paid.

All going well went down and purchased a phone for her and 2 prepay SIM's .... purchase topup vouchers and the store applies those, no problems ..... Register our accounts for the $10 credits, get the codes and can't apply them. Keep getting the message "Sorry this service is not available"

Ring the Telecom 0800 .... get disconnected by the system 3 times, finally get through after a 25min wait and am told "Sorry, the system is being updated and you won't be able to do any topups for 24 hours"

Shiney new stores, flash new adds ..... same old company.

The only good thing is they agreed to refund our purchases ..... so Vodafone, I guess we are staying put.

Pretty pathetic Telecom, if you are going to put the effort into getting the customers .... make sure your systems are actually working.

My understanding was the topup platform was down for around an hour for some scheduled work.
