I just opted to buy Telecom Mobile Broadband 500MB prepay for my T-Stick.
I had about $5.70 balance on casual rate.
The 500MB purchase required me to topup with $20 which I did via Visa.
I find that I am still on casual rate.
My money is disappearing at $1/MB and I am down to $23.
One Telecom FAQ suggested that the 500MB plan will not start until the 1st of the next month.
I have had an email thanking me for the $20 top up but nothing about buying 500MB data plan.

Can anyone help clarify the 500MB data plan purchase?

TIA

Gordy

Fiancé just has a similar issue with her prepay telephone. Go to a Telecom shop and talk to them about it, it turns out they have changed prepay in a few different ways recently.

Just checked and I am down to about $19 on casual data rate.

Looks like the casual data rate balance of $5.70 may not have been my real time balance.

So when I thought that an additional $20 would buy me the 500MB data for $25, it didn't.

On my login I could see the free 2GB had expired and that I have used about 14.7MB casual data and balance about $19.

I rang Telecom on 0800323232 and they set me up with 500MB data and $0.33 credit.

I am very happy.

Cheers and thanks for the help.

Hi
After topping up, you'll need to click on a button that says: extras which is just under the topup link
This will take you to a page with all the prepay text and data options. Pg 2 has the data option you require.
If the stick has already used $2 you'll need to top it back up again unless 0800 32 32 32 can refund it.
