Is anyone having trouble retrieving lost password to login to the site?

The website doesn't seem to be sending me e-mail to reset.

Been playing with the website today and topping up my SIM which I haven't used for about 8 weeks. Real easy guys to use. One interesting thing I noticed with the fone I put the SIM into was a WinMo 6.1. When it booted up it shows Telecom NZ and uses the TNZ APN settings fine but in my android it shows Skinny and has to have the Skinny APNs set for data to work...

Hi Guys

Any response to my eariler post around being able to access the Skinny website if you run out of data on a Data only device e.g I have a pocket wifi and the data on the weekly plan runs out and i want to log on to the Site from my laptop via that pocket wifi to "top up/add an add-on" to get me going again??

I think the Telecom site allows this on their prepaid connections.

Would be good to know

Cheers

When changing your number using the new Skinny website how long should the peroid be before full services are working on the new number. Thats a Skinny to Skinny change not an internetwork port or anything? Basically i requested the change at 4.10pm and shortly after the website had updated my new number. But almost 90 minutes later it won't send / receive texts at all and telephone calling works outbound on the old number only. Inbound works to neither number..... Is this a normal processing time or a fault?

ferg_nz: Cheers bee there and set it up. quick question if you have no $$ left and your plan has not renewed and you have a Data only device and no access to the net apart from said device are you able to browse to the skinny site and do a top up either via Credit card or Voucher??

It would be good if this can be done if not maybe it is something you could look in to???

Cheers and Keep it Skinny

Sorry for the delay on this one - it's been a busy week and I wanted to do some testing on topups with no balance before responding, which meant watching a few you tube videos to clear my quota!!

Yes, when you have zero balance you can still manage your Skinny account online, i.e. top-up via credit card or voucher, without data charges.  (But you won’t be able to browse the net for other things).

cheers

Paul

I'm a little confused with the difference in the Foreign Stuff section on the website

What's the difference between "Roaming" and "Calling/ texting Overseas" apart from way different pricing. ?? I was looking at The Cook Islands..

Ah, The Cook Islands - sounds like a plan.  Where do I sign?

Roaming - you are overseas, hopefully working on your tan

Calling/Texting Overseas - you're in New Zealand, heading into winter and calling overseas to book your dream holiday.
