I would say its criticism, just constructive feedback and the community trying to help and suggest improvement.

I think I speak for everyone here, when I say a big thanks to Freitasm for all his hard work and appreciate the quick turn around on this feature.

I have moved the button and text to the top. Also changed the text.

I will change the button to switch correctly later this weekend. I am also planning on following a suggestion from bradstewart and will move {PROFILE}, {EMAIL}, {TWITTER}, {WWW} buttons to under the avatar as these are user related. I will leave {QUOTE} and {EDIT} where they are now as these are post related.

How's that for a small change?

Would you folks like to get an email notification (optional, profile based) when one of your post receives a vote up? I'd like to know what interests people, what get their attention, so I am thinking of implementing that as well.

If there was an option for daily or weekly I would find it interesting. Even better if it is a summary.

But if it is hourly or instant I would try it out but see myself turning it off after a while.

Hi There!

The new placement is significantly better, thank you for that!

As for the notification when a post gets a vote up, I'd like the option to get a daily summary, I already am getting a lot of notification emails from GZ a day.

... No +1 visible to me on my own posts, but do I see something if anyone +1's my posts?

You won't see anything on your own posts until someone +1, since you can't +1 your own posts anyway. I decided to not show anything to reduce content but as soon as someone votes up you see something there.
