A 'just curious' question more than anything...

I only use the live.geekzone page and occasionally see "last reply by freitasm on date/timestamp" but there's no actual post by freitasm in the thread at that time.

There's a current example " last reply by freitasm on 16-Feb-2013 18:40" for the Class Action thread.

Is this a bug or some admin access thing being logged?

Admin access / post edit etc.

You can see it yourself if you edit or delete a post.

If you post a reply and then delete it the topic will still reflect that. I posted a reply in that discussion and then decided would be better to leave it at that, so removed it.

On a related note, this also seems to muck up the thread page count. Current example is the SGSIII thread, which GZ Live shows with 352 pages, but it's already halfway into page 353.

Yes, sometimes the -1 doestn't work when mods remove a post. There's a "fix" link we can click and update the reply count - done for that thread.

Yes, could do that on every action instead of +1/-1 on every action.
