dontpanic42: I'd say it's behaving a little strange.
It just banned you (and everyone else)!! :P

Notice how you also can't report him? ;)

Better freitasm, how about just halving the distance between the buttons? there's about a football field in there now.

Yes much improved. I still feel it's taking up a lot of space on the screen, especially if the post is only a couple of sentences like mine :P

I also agree... so I +1'd ;)

Can PM/Stalk/Friend all be removed? Add a Stalk button to the user's profile page, and then they'd all be available there. "Report" and "Set Answer" moving to the top right would almost abolish the buttons altogether wouldn't it? (that is, if "Report" is to "report the post"? I've never used it...)

As it is now is just one option more than before, and the distance is actually smaller between buttons than it was with the images.

Other day I was lurking on #geekzone and someone said "I heard there's an option where I can get an email when someone posts. I think it's only for subscribers. It's freaky to know people can track you".

The person in question NEVER noticed the STALK button. If we move this to the profile page then it's not going to be used. The idea of STALK being where it is is because people can think "There's someone to follow around so I will click it now".

Yeah, heard about that... I'm not sure if there's any benefit to promoting the feature? is the benefit over and above the user experience reading the forums?

Anyway, I'm sure I can construct a tampermonkey script to hide the buttons I don't want to see if necessary.

Side bar could be further compressed if the on-line speech bubble were removed/relocated.

Perhaps relocating within the Avatar frame?

Otherwise I'm liking the evolution...

Yes, thinking of moving the online indicator around too.

Up beside username would work.... with a slightly smaller icon.
