My gold stars look better than your grey stars :p

geek4me: What does the vertical bar(s) between the stars mean?

It means you have zoomed in or out of the page and it's doing something funky to the images.

Yes, if I stretch Internet Explorer windows wider the bar(s) move left or right to the next or previous star or  disappear and reappear.

I thought it had something to do with ones progress to the next star :-)

It's a comet or north korea's missile test

Something weird going on with your IE then. Resizing the window doesn't break anything like that for me.

As you suggested, he's probably using a zoomed in view. Click CTRL 0 and will go back to 100% and remove those bars.

Ah yes resizing a zoomed window has an interesting effect on them.

freitasm: Press CTRL 0 and see it disappear.

Ah, I see! When one uses Ctrl + to make the text bigger it introduces the bar. Ctrl 0 goes back to the default size. So if I want to use that I better get new glasses.

I don't mind the funky bars - it's better than buying new glasses. Long live Ctrl +
