Do you have Ghostery, or block scripts, use a hosts files with custom domains (either on PC or router) or use a third party DNS?

I utilise my active directory servers for their dns but then these just point to the 2degrees DNS servers, so no to the points.

Thanks. Was wondering if you had something like OpenDNS or others that might have an option to block ads at DNS level.

S'ok.  I can see every add on the page by the way, all in their normal places.

Seriously, this is getting beyond a joke.

I keep loosing +1 buttons and quick reply boxes randomly because I'm blocking ads. BUT I'M NOT.
reloading the page fixes it usually.

I have adblock plus and flashblock. Both are disabled on GZ.

I understand what you're trying to achieve, but the half arsed passive aggressive approach annoys the crap out of me.

There must be something else that's blocking it - no hosts file changed, DNS with "security features", etc? Or perhaps something in the network is preventing a script to load. We are working with the script providers to eliminate those false positive and find that mostly the results are getting better. If you have a problem again, open an incognito tab and try it. Let me know the results.

I've just tried it and both incognito and normal cause the adblocker thing to display.

"It looks like you're using an adblocker. Geekzone relies on ads to keep our content and forums free. Please support the Geekzone community by whitelisting us. The forum auto refresh will resume once Geekzone is whitelisted. Thank you! "

As before, I do not have any extensions to IE11 at all which should cause a change.  Just tried with Chrome on the same machine and it works, no adblock warning and auto-refresh works as expected... So in the space of 30s after changing browser it works fine.

I'm running Windows 10 IE11 with the anniversary update.  Something must be kicking the script off from Windows 10 updates...

I see what you mean by IE11... Just reproduced it here.

I've just started having the same problem tonight on my laptop running Windows 7 using Chrome browser, with the orange banner saying Hey, we've noticed you have ad blocker enabled. Please consider whitelisting Geekzone.

Still get all the adds.

Can't see the plus one button

No changes at my end. :(

Perhaps something wasn't loading because of ISP problems and now it is back?
