I'm still getting it periodically on iOS safari. No ad blocker even installed.

Still happening on my work connection despite all the ads showing, haven't looked at home.  We have website URL filters in place here, but content is generally not blocked from a site once you're on it, unless it pulled from a blocked url.

I haven't had it recently on GZ, but its just started happening on Wired.com. It seems to be my browser (IE11 on Win10) as it only happens when the browser has been open for a while, and goes away when I restart it. Then again Wired has always been a clunky sod of a site in IE for me.

Right on cue, lost the quick reply and +1 in iOS.

I have a simple question. What am I missing if I keep the Ad blocker? I mean if I don't whitelisted Geekzone then what will be my cost?

I know the cost, if I do whitelisted geekzone, lots of annoying ads will cover all my webpage real estate. But my question is, what if I don't?

Not sure if serious. This has been answered many times. No ads means no revenue and we have expenses. So you can do the right stuff and keep it with ads or pay a subscription. Running with AdBlocker means we have the expense and no money to pay for things.

For those who have the "You're running an adblocker" message while showing ads... When reporting please make sure you refreshed the page a couple of times (it's cookie-based and one cookie behind). @LennonNZ if you are a subscriber we don't test the adblocker or show the message. If you had the cookie set before logging in then it will still be there when you logoff.

If you have refreshed the page and still see the message while showing ads it could be that the network you are on is blocking the server used for testing. It could be a company policy, or an OpenDNS server, or a DNS unblocker service, etc. If you are just using the standard ISP DNS, there's no company policies in place then we need to know browser, OS and network. Otherwise we have no way to finding out what goes on.

I'm getting the ad block message now too.

I've got geekzone whitelisted and am seeing the ads.

I've logged in and out a few times and refreshed the page and deleted cookies.

Yes I have. And I did nothing to make it work for a period and then stop again.
