Hey, we've noticed you have ad blocker enabled. Please consider whitelisting Geekzone.Hey, we've noticed you have ad blocker enabled. Please consider whitelisting Geekzone.

Browser Firefox

Network Spark

Also page never stops loading gets stuck on ad.doubleclick.net

dt.adsafeprotected.com and api.blockertools.net

Couldn't copy paste so above address's just written from memory of what saw at bottom of screen, and it just keeps cycling through those address's.

Have deleted cookies and done page refresh, no difference

Currently getting it often on iOS safari Vodafone mobile no adblocker installed.

EDIT:As with @CYaBro, pages aren't fully loading on this connection - icons and so on seem to be missing from pages as well.

Still no answer as to why I'm getting the adblock message even though Geekzone is whitelisted?

And I'm not the only one it appears.

Have you tried clearing cookies and refreshed the page afterwards? Do you use any special DNS (such as OpenDNS) or other DNS services? Is this at home or work?

Yup did that.

This is everywhere I think, I'll need to check at home tonight, but certainly here at work.

Just using default ISP DNS servers, Uber in Whangarei.

It did work fine for a few hours one day then came back again, and haven't noticed if it did this again since.

Let me know if it works at home - it could be your work network using a proxy server and blocking some scripts.

I run the network at work and we have none of that. :)

Yes but I thought you said it shows the warning at work?

So this is still ongoing with my Chrome browser.

I have now uninstalled the uBlock Origin extension and Geekzone is still saying that I have ad blocker installed yet all the ads are showing on the screen!

But I am missing some of the useful features from Geekzone, like +1, quick replies etc.

I run the network here at work and there are no DNS servers, or other ad blockers anywhere, and we just use our ISP DNS servers.

Edit: Sorry it's not just Chrome, it is happening in Edge as well and I have never had an ad blocker extension in that.
