Show of hands... Who's staying at Hotel SO?

Thought those staying at Hotel SO could meet together and go in big group. I've booked a room for me and my partner to stay at Hotel SO too.

davide: And said ritual would be?

Nothing too onerous, just come prepared with your own rubber chicken, two dock leaves and the spring from a Bic pen.

If you can't find the chicken or dock leaves a small bronze statue of Elvis and a palm frond will do in a pinch.

It also helps if you're familiar with hot wax strips, and know simple first aid, but I'm sure some of the locals can help there.

Nick I was guessing that there were enough out of towners that we could go easy on them... and still have more drinks that can be consumed!

and here I am asking for suggestions in my own city.. moved here a year ago, but still spent a lot of time away, and with toddlers do not get out to various various as much as we used to.

Go to Sophie's Cafe at corner of Bealey Ave and Papanui Road (Carlton Corner)... it is a nice little cafe. Their servings are BIG! It's a meal for the big boys!

It's thinking like that, that can get a man killed, ya-know! :-) - This reminds me of the days when IRC started in NZ..  as well as the old culture, passion and enthusiasm of BBS users/callers..  people who came from all walks of life and are united by something in common, it this case geekzone - it's all goodness.

Nick.

Those flying in to Christchurch and want to know how to get from the airport into CBD, you can check out the Christchurch International Aiport's Transportation info.
