Don't have too much fun, people. Wish me
luck with WLG weather, Air Nelson's striking
pilots, fog, whatever.

BTW - anyone got experience with touch-screens?

Good to meet everyone and put some faces to names tonight! :) Hope 3Bit didn't drink too much of their own bartab... *cough*.

Thanks to all the sponsors, Mauricio (of course! ;-)), and everyone that turned up! Laughing

Just adding my thanks to Mauricio and others (did I mention 3-bit?) for the pizza evening.  Made some good contacts, learnt some stuff, met some nice people, got some freebies, not to mention the pizza.

Thanks again and all the best.

Great night, thanks everyone. Was great to catch up again, and meet a few new people as well. I hope you 3Bit guys weren't blinded by the bright lights of Havelock North ;)

Thanks so much to everyone that came.

Specifically thankyou to 3Bit for putting a bar tab on (plus the extra tabs that came out of personal pockets!!).

Prizes were courtesy of Anyware for a Compro VideoMate S300 DVB-S tuner card, BlueAnt Wireless for M1 Bluetooth Stereo Speakers. Easytraveller for a PowerMonkey charger and Symantec for a copy of Norton Internet Security 2008 and Norton Antivirus 2008.

After the meetup at the Corn Exchange, I played sober driver (fantastic excuse to not have two huge nights in a row), and ferried people to and from Havelock North and the motel.

The hardcore few were still up and yakking away at about 3.30am, while Little Britains Matt Lucas was snoring away in the corner of the motel room.

It was great to meet you guys and put a face to all the names.

Cheers
T

This was my first pizza evening -  pizza and beers were excellent, and great to put names to faces.  Big thanks (literally) to Tony for ferrying us out to Havelock North and being our sober driver til the wee hours.

Glad to have sponsored all four nights, and as always, great to catchup up with you Mauricio.

Cheers
Nathan - 3Bit.
