I've been to most of these, i wouldnt rate them outside of a pizza snack.

 

 

 

nothing like the italian pizza places elsewhere.

Local taphouse and good george are pretty good.

 

 

 

brewaucracy is meant to be good, i haven't tried them yet though.

There's a few places that have function rooms/spaces. I'm not sure if they charge or not. I'm thinking of  the Good Neighbour (Good George venue) at Rototuna, Smith and McKenzie at Chartwell, Wayward Pigeon at Chartwell and the Roaming Giant at Claudlands. All of the them have plenty of parking on site or very close by except the Roaming Giant and even then it should be possible to park not too far away. Any of these would be suitable venues.
