I say this because while I can be a helpful friendly chap, some days I can be a dick as well. Honestly I think most people can be depending on the day / mood / wind direction / etc.
Mind you I'm probably much safer since Mauricio blocked me from posting in the Politics forum lol. Political arguments can definitely bring out the worst in me.
That describes most people really. Except for the political part. Everyone turns into a dick when arguing politics. Or Apple vs Android.

The reason you see this so often is that is automatically how the quote button works. Not everyone wants to edit the quote to only quote one portion, and equally on your phone this is difficult to do. I dont think anyone is going out of their way to quote repeatedly, but rather a limitation of the quote button.

Not everyone.
Because when discussing how National and Apple are better than Labour and Android (clearly indisputable facts, backed by much research), there's only one way to be a dick...and that is to disagree.

What are you talking about, it's clearly on the side.
Opp's sorry about the many nested quotes 😘

Put this way: if the moderators think you are being a dick, chances are you are being dick.
That's all the subjectivity you need to know.
Reality is we rely on users reporting things to us as much as we rely on what we see around the forums during the day (and night). And moderators make the call. Like judges do.
