OK - I know we have covered this before but I'm a casual Star Trek fan, not a true Trekkie...what's a Wheaton Level, when it's not on the Enterprise?

Here's a background on Wheaton's Law.

It would be fair to say that I was NOT expecting there to be any reference to Will Wheaton  - I was taking the p!$$...I just assumed it was a coincidence that we Geeks would know who Will Wheaton was and that there was also a Wheaton's Law. I really expected them to be completely unrelated.

I feel much cleverer now.

I'd have thought +1's are a good indication of that.  E.G. if you've got a high number of posts but a low number of +1's then you're not doing so well in the view of your peers on the forum.

a few of us around here could game that ;)

I wonder that some are now. There are some with what looks to me a much higher than average +1 ratio to their number of total posts.
