freitasm: Is this on FF or Chrome? I've configured Google Ad Manager to not deliver these ads on Firefox.

Definitely still showing in FF 3.0.2 (after I disabled Adblock of course)

freitasm: I've just checked on Firefox and it is showing, so I am just pausing the whole campaign...

It is (or should I say was) showing on both FF and Chrome, screenshot was from FF 3.0.3. Thanks for pausing the campaign freitasm, I hope it can be sorted. I used to run a large site and know that advertising is essential.

Cheers,

The thing is back again. Sorry Freitasm, but how many times do you need to be asked to get something done about it? I`m sure advertisements that cannot be closed and cover forum text pay quite well, but if you need to resort to this sort of stuff, then might as well start charging users instead.

Why do I get the feeling some geekzone suit is somehow involved with this RocknRolla rubbish? I encourage fellow users to boycott this movie, if it`s hard to ignore after weeks of in-your-face ads.

The only way to find what's is wrong is by running it so people can get the code  and see why things gone wrong. I am running the ads for a couple of hours.

You wrote "advertisements that cannot be close and cover forum text pay quite well" and "I get the feeling some geekzone suit is somehow involved with this RocknRolla rubbish?"... I don't have words to express how disgusting is what you are implying.

Now, I can't understand why you are so rude. Chill out, have a coffee and come back in 30 minutes.

I am surprised Mauricio didnt hit the ban button on that. He had already explained himself and the sites position quite well.

"some geekzone suit" - what?????? You think this is a corporation or something?

Mauricio might be the director, but he is also the tea lady and mail boy.

I think you are way out of line, and that Mauricio is doing what he can to improve the experience for all the users here.

Glitches are inevitable when other people get to inject content (i.e. ads) into your site.

I for one have never experienced any problems with ads and attila I'm frankly disgusted at how you publically abuse Mauricio. That is no way to bring to his attention there is a fault with the site.

Sorry again guys, patience is not one of my virtues. It`s just annoying that the exact same ad keeps messing about in the same way again and again. Don`t these ad agency people know how to code properly? Maybe geekzone needs to give them a hand.

Yay Attila!

/me is proud that you're man enough to apologise, good work

Maybe for now try using IE? (I know.. thats a terrible suggestion as IE sucks)? As geekzone and IE seem to play nice for me a lot.
