Is there a way to be able to "grab a corner" of the image and shrink its size? Like in MS apps?

I have been testing the TinyMCE code for that but couldn't make it work - yet.

Right...keep at it...I'm a simple man who enjoys simple pleasures

Yeah, a resize 'drag n drop' would be quite useful. Otherwise it was quick and painless.

Oh and sorry for inflicting my mugshot on you all on such a gloriously large scale hahahaha.

The reason I removed the "copy and paste" back then is because the image is stored as part of the message - and therefore there's no way it could be cached by the CDN. By uploading the image to Geekzone we can make sure it's cached at CDN and browser and guarantees the fastest possible page load.

Also, imgur? A lot easier to just use the "Upload image" buttons below the reply box (or just drag-and-drop now).

Thoughts on increasing the 2MB limit? in the age of 4K and 5G, surely we could go up a little.

It's not like the internet is like this anymore!

I was looking last night at doubling the limits but the drag-and-drop code/testing takes precedence at the moment.

I'd like to try this. Using FreeBSD, xfce and Firefox. Not the most popular choices.

My next project is to change quotes (@networkn will be pleased). Basically, after this image trickery is done I am planning on allowing multiple quotes per reply, with a limit of two nested quotes each.

Resizing handles would be excellent!

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Looks to be working, although dragging from another Firefox windows brought across the whole DIV, not just the image.

Yes, because you have to drag the image itself from the filesystem (or open it, select all and copy/paste). Dragging from another application is basically copying the whole thing not just the image. Not much we can do about this. Also, if you drag from another browser tab it will automatically add the IMG SRC tag to that image, not upload to Geekzone.
