Thanks for the contest.
If I win, I will be setting up a multimedia station for my students (I teach sixth grade) for movie making, podcasting and connecting with the world.

I would love to win this amazing giveaway! If i win i will be giving it all to my brother and his wife who live in Thailand. They want to set up a FREE E-learning center for children & youth in the village they live in. This will make that dream come true and a whole community will benifit from it for free!

Thanks so much Geekzone, HP & Microsoft for this awesome giveaway!

About the TouchSmart PC's TV tuner, is it going to be an American one? (NTSC)

Yes, it's the American version. Not sure it does DVB-T - which means it could work here if it did.

Well: It includes a "TV tuner, ATSC & NTSC with PVR, remote" - so I would think that it'll be useless here in New Zealand.

That voids one of the lovely features of the TouchSmart PC.

Brilliant competition.
I'd definitely give a couple of the computers to the local school. The touchsmart would be brilliant for kids.

Impressive giveaway, thanks for bringing this to NZ.

I don't know any organisation I could give something too off the top of my head, but some children in my extended family could do with a notebook or two I know they could not afford. It would make a great Christmas for them.

I do like the idea of 'share the magic - my son's school would get the benefit of at least one of the notebooks.  Well done!
Cheers,
G.

Hello, wonderful contest! I would so love to give my grandson the HDX and printer; he's between highschool and college at the moment. I would give away the Pavilion, Mini and Media Smart as well, but just not sure yet who the worthy recipient(s) would be. I'm truly lusting for the TouchSmart for myself. Would be put to good use however, as I spend hours and hours as the volunteer website administrator for the Ronald McDonald House of Durham, North Carolina. (http://ronaldhousedurham.org/)

This would be an amazing opportunity to play my own little version of Santa and give some of these beauties away to extended family and friends.
The desktop touch screen might have to be my own (drool, drool)
Here is hoping!!

I would put this package to good use...

- HP Touchsmart IQ816 PC: I would give that to my mate Glynn, as hes into digital media and having touch could have benifets.
- HP HDX 18 Series Premium Notebook: I would give that to my old man, as his old desktop is prehistoric slow, running ME.
- HP Dv4-1030ej: I would give this to my sisters family, she has 3 school aged girls.
- HP Mini 1000: I would keep that, it would replace my old and battered Toshiba laptop.
- HP MediaSmart Connect: I would claim that, as it would be the perfect addition for my HTPC, extending control into the bedroom.
- Toshiba M40: My old laptop, I would get fixed and cleaned up, and give to my mother.

A family giveaway Laughing
