Reviews, News, like Blogs, only infrequently has/had new content, so those were only in the way before, hence everyone's eye muscle memory stories.
I'd prefer new content at the top, older content towards the bottom, meaning Reviews too at the bottom, not merely off to the other side for retraining.
Is that possible or does the page require 3 columns?

Woah that was an unexpected change. Personally, I prefer the left and right columns swapped back, but I'll adjust either way.
is the right stuff being focused on for a geekzone update? For me, the look (colours / layout etc) has become quite stale - perhaps that would be a better area to focus?

Ahh, you said Live isn't working... and that isn't Live :)

Edit: Both Live and the homepage 'widget' work for me in Safari for Mac.
