maybe mauricio is a faulty towers fan and was reminiscing about the episode where basil went (more) nuts with his german customers telling them they started the war by invading poland?

The 6502 was the first CPU I ever owned (probably the same for many here....)

1965 (friends) - Germany invaded Poland (again), which syncs with the quote...
(note: This is in Harry Turtledove's Colonization series)
