Bit of a pain typing out 2degrees and there is no reason it should be substituting them with a question mark that I can think of...

We remove all those characters because of havoc they cause in RSS feeds. Also the company name is 2 Degrees Mobile anyway...

But the logo is 2^o, so why not imitate that when abbreviating the name? I suppose you're right. We should all stick to 2 Degrees Mobile. :)

Would be confusing if we referred to Vodafone around these forums as ' (meant to be an upside-down apostrophe!)

Not if it were as obvious as 2 Degrees Mobile's logo is. Logos are well recognised, if a decent version of it could be produced in text, how would that be confusing? If the ' that you used looked anything like the Vodafone logo I would've known what you meant.

Does this work? 2o?  Not that I necessarily recommend people to use it, but looks like 2 Degrees Mobile to me!

Edit: Or at least it did until I submitted the reply and the HTML tags were stripped...

2o

Hmm, that didn't work, tried a superscript copy from word. Worked in the preview.

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?

Yes, the forum is US ASCII only as far as I can tell. Also means that people who wish to use the "UK Pound" symbol or the Euro symbol cannot do so. Very frustrating.
