Thanks MF! Am trying it out now, and geekzone is running wayyyyy faster. I didn't realize how slow the ads made the site!

Thanks MF, can't believe how fast it loads without the ads! I'd recently been considering becoming a subscriber, I think this will make me do it! Great marketing idea!! ;)

And here I was thinking I was special!

Any word on other features such as thanking people for a useful post?
People earning awards/different geek levels based on the amount of thanks they get?
How about also having bad credit...people can be banned/be looked at and spoken to by a moderator if they get top much bad credit...

What about the forums...is the blue going anytime soon, gona match it to the front page?
And also the mobile version, can the pages have a 'last page/first page' link?

On a personal note...

I did not think of bothering with a subscription in the past as I did not think it really offered much extra or anything of interest to me...but having now tried it I will say the speed increase is probably worth it alone...

But I think another good reason to become a subscriber, is to help support MF with the great events he puts on each year, and the ongoing prize giveaways...the amount of free beer and food I have got out of MF at his shindigs over the years the subscription really is a bargain.

I will confirm my paid subscription this Thursday MF

You are, you were only 1 in 1000 odd to get it.

Any word on other features such as thanking people for a useful post?

It has been discussed

People earning awards/different geek levels based on the amount of thanks they get?

We all have 'trusted' users which is similar.

How about also having bad credit...people can be banned/be looked at and spoken to by a moderator if they get top much bad credit...

Good idea, but you will all end upbanning eachother :D

What about the forums...is the blue going anytime soon, gona match it to the front page?

It is coming, one step at a time.

And also the mobile version, can the pages have a 'last page/first page' link?

Pass.
