And they're all for the Christchurch event, right?

Folks... DB has given us two kegs of beer per evening, to help promote their Monteiths Worth Talking Over website.

Unfortunately the venue in Wellington has refused to allow DB to deliver the kegs for us there. We have confirmed two kegs of Monteiths for AKL and CHC events though.

I am looking at alternatives for a pre-pizza drink somewhere else in town. Stay tuned!

Let me put this way... What part of "FREE" and "BEER" you didn't get?

It's Monteiths beer...

As I said, I am trying to get a pub to host a pre-pizza drinks with those two kegs. If something confirms I will send an email tomorrow to all registered attendees.

Those beers are largers, Monteiths does do a larger but the ales are much nicer.

Well, Mauricio, I guess now I'll have to admit that was the real reason why I decided to go to the Christchurch event instead of the Wellington one! Tongue out

I think he might have been meaning type as in lager or pale ale, rather than brand.

But yeah, lol.

Might be tricky to find a bar willing to let you bring your own alcohol!

Does it have to be a bar, maybe some other kind of venue?

Yeah like my house, have them delivered and I'll take care of the drinking part.

In all seriousness, I'd be willing to "donate" $10 for a pre- 'pizza party' party.
If everyone pays $10 we can give the donation to a pub to let us drink there for a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon?

I'll side step the Wellington issue with the free beer. I think they are lining up davidcole as a bartender to serve from the kegs outside ORD or just do it from his home. Laughing
Christchurchs event is dangerous. It's quite close (walking distance) to a pawn brokers and the casino.
Mauricio, no stopping off anywhere when you arrive in CH. Money mouth
[EDIT]
But not close enough to carry 2 kegs unless you had help at least.
