For those of you flying from Wellington to Christchurch on Saturday, what flight are you on?

I'm on NZ489 leaving Wellington at 1pm. Planning on trying out the new Wild at Heart lounge before the flight if anyone else is on the same flight and would like to join me.

I am on NZ5037 (as Steve Biddle) landing 11:30am, so we will just head to the Hotel So, searching for lunch and then going to have a drink if anyone wants it...

I'm on DJ3180, arriving at 11:30am. I will probably have a quick lunch at the parents' place and then head into town after that.

It sounds as if we probably have enough interest for unofficial afternoon drinks at the Dux which would be great.

Just a note to let everyone know that Geekzone Freeview pizza Christchurch is this weekend! It's looking like a cold weekend indeed. Good for the ones planning to go on a South Island trip.

Also I've got an email yesterday confirming the delivery of two kegs of Monteith's, courtesy of www.worthtalkingover.co.nz... This is in addition to the the main bar tab already sponsored by Telecom New Zealand.

Also for the out-of-towners, if you are staying at Hotel So (as many are), Chiefie has arranged with them to move all of us to the same floor. If you haven't received a notification you can call and tell them you want a room in the same floor as the Geekzone group.

Hmmm - Geekzone in town - Lets hit them with another southerly - Hopefully it won't snow this time. As soon as I get over my St Pats hangover I will look forward to getting a GZ one

I hope it all goes well in Chch tomorrow night - I can't attend unfortunately.

The weather was truly diabolical last time, but the pizzas, drink and company was excellent.

How about an event in Perth WA? I can guarantee great weather - 17th/18th April to coincide with the Red Bull Air Race?

Now based in Perth WA.

Dunno what weather forecast you were looking at - it's going to be 25 both days now. Maybe us Wellington people can experience some Summer weather!
