JohnR: Isn't it time you changed your Avatar to 3.75G, then people will know VF is considering a move to 4G :)

Was that a question or a statement? Johnr did say very soon. He even underlined the very over at the Vodafone forums....

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

I'm getting a little impatient now, it seems my very soon does not translate into his very soon. I guessing Monday now.

Always been happy with VF broadband, top speeds. 60GB is loads really, but the double data helps when necessary. A cap increase will just be another sweetener and another plus!

now if the rumour of 240Gb is sort of true... winner!
Any increase is tops!!

Heres hoping for something soon as well. I wouldn't look at any other ISP.

Well for business DSL it's excellent, along with my mobiles etc, but I really need 2 IP's and faster upload, and VF don't offer it, and aren't competitive in things like Fibre unfortunately. Also I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the number of times a day I am driving and lose my calls. On average right now it's around *5*, and recently I have found out of the blue there is ANOTHER dead spot on my route home.

Service wise and pricing wise generally, I think VF is epic win, but right now I am thinking I may have to trial a XT Sim and compare coverage.

If something is going to happen it would be nice if it happened this week - my billing period ends on the 13th!

You mean your data cycle? Billing is from 1st to end of month.

Previously when the data caps were increased, it happened for everyone at the same time.

Soon would be great. My data cycle has 10 days to run and I need to double my data (again)!

Announce today and effective from today? ha

I see Telecom are now TV advertising that they are doubling the data caps for all residential plans. I can't imagine that the sales teams at Vodafone NZ will want to be selling their current plans with half the cap of Telecom for roughly the same price for long.
There is only so much a reduced Sky plan will do to sway people to sign up if they happen to want lots of data.

I didn't opt for a Sky package with my VF package so I am all about the best data value for money currently.
Still worth paying the $200 for the VF modem and going back to Telecom at this stage but I will hold out to see what develops as VF has proven to be much faster than the old boys since I changed.

I have heard a lot of ads on the radio for Vodafone's naked bb 60gb plan in the last week. There seems to be no hurry to do anything with the data caps, almost a month after Telecom started advertising double data.

I'm slightly more agitated by the fact I have made a few complaints to the helpdesk about speeds. Spoken to two different CSR's who both advised me they would call me back the next day with an update on the status of my issue, and have not. Also advised I would be emailed status updates and have received no emails. I've also filled in the Vodafone Voice emails they send after troubleshooting complaining that no one has followed through with either verbal or electronic communication. But I'm not sure if anyone actually reads them as again I've had no contact.

Time to weigh up options with other companies. Snap is looking attractive at present.

Agreed - they are holding off.. and for what? everyone else who is going to move, has already! Come on Vodafone - I'm possibly going to be reconsidering my connection with you if we get near to the end of this month with no change.
